The Apple iPad comes in a variety of options and sizes, allowing you to customize your POS as you see fit. The Revel software operates on Generation 2 iPads and above, and we recommend 16GB-sized iPads for all systems. This size should be more than adequate for your point of sale system. Mobile POS users should use iPads with a 3G or 4G data plan, which can be purchased through your mobile service provider. A 2GB plan per location will be sufficient for all mobile POS needs. The iPad will function as your main POS terminal, and must therefore suit your individual business.

Although the standard iPad will function as your main point of sale terminal, you can also utilize other Apple products to ensure your business is running with ultimate efficiency and profitability. The iPad Mini allows for easy and efficient table-side ordering. The Apple iPod is a cost-effective means of line busting, saving your customers’ time and increasing your profit margin.
