Ever need to quickly get in touch with your employees?  Nova’s POS software includes a chat window that is accessible from the software’s sales screen or your mobile device. Employees and managers can send messages between each other in a quick, convenient, and secure manner. You can even send a message from Nova Mobile on your smartphone that will show up at your retail location. For example, an employee in Store1 runs out of an item that a customer wishes to purchase. The employee quickly sends a message to Store2 to inquire if it has that item available. Store2 has it in stock and puts it on hold for the customer. To identify the employee, the chat can only be initiated by inputting an employee name and password. The name and timestamp are saved as well.
