Inventory Control

The inventory module is simple to use and can take as little as an hour a day to maintain. It is linked directly to the database on the front of house ePOS system and takes into account all the factors that affect your costs, from recipe costing; showing the cost of specific menu items, to stock depletion.

Stock ordering can be performed in one of four ways:

• Order wizard using historical sales data to recommend order quantities
• Order templates for set and standard orders
• Open purchase order
• Par order wizard based on your selected reorder quantities

Labour Scheduling

This easy to use software allows you to:

• Configure your systems to prevent employees who have not yet clocked in from operating the point-of-sale
• Track the hours your employees work
• Create export files of the regular and overtime hours for each employee during the pay period you establish
• Create reports on labour costs versus sales
• Schedule your workforce, considering part time workers, cover and holidays

Business Intelligence

Over 150 separate reports are incorporated into the BackOffice software using the Crystal Reports Engine. These reports are available from any terminal and include all activity up to the exact moment you take the report. All BackOffice reports related to point-of-sale activity are built from a full detail transaction table. Data can be sorted by date ranges, and may have over ten options on how the report will be generated, such as including detailed graphs, sorting by category or department, or suppressing items with no activity. Customised tracking reports can be created; by operator, terminal, time, day of the week, sales type, transaction type or revue centre. All reports are configured to print on standard point-of-sale printers, using Windows drivers for any graphical elements.

Cash Management

Comtrex BackOffice provides you with detailed information on all movements of funds, from cashiers or banked servers, through your BackOffice account transfer account to a deposit lockbox and into the bank. Facilities are provided to maintain separate accountability for holding areas such as a safe, gift certificate box, deposit lockbox or corporate vouchers held pending billing. The Cash Management can be totally automatic with no operator for counting or entry for funds movement, or separate counting screens and transfer screens can be used. Payments made by House Charge members may be entered either at point-of-sale or in the BackOffice.

General Ledger

Everything that happens within your overall suite of software is automatically linked to a General Ledger account number. If you are not currently linked with an accounting module, you will be surprised to find a P&L and Balance Sheet being automatically generated for you, behind the scenes. If you are linked, a complete export of all information can be automatically generated on a daily basis, as part of the end of day process.

Charge Accounts

This module is a powerful, yet simple way of providing your customers with a gift/loyalty or account feature. It allows you to allocate account cards to members of groups, corporate customers, or even staff. Individual accounts can be set to limit the number of transactions or the total spend by day or by period. The account status can be checked at the point of sale or back of house. An integral reporting facility generates monthly statements and allows additional personalised text to be added in.

Delivery

Whether your customers are calling in for a pick up or delivery, all the possibilities are built into our Comtrex software. The package offers caller ID integration, easy search functionality with easy touch transfer of multiple orders. New customers can be easily added to the database at the point-of-sale terminal.
