POSadvice.com is a lead generation service. We share (sell) personal information with POS system vendors and authorized dealers. Under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA), California residents have the right to opt out of the sale of their personal information.
What Happens When You Opt Out
- We will not share your personal information with POS vendors, dealers, or other third parties for commercial purposes
- You can still use our comparison tools, calculators, and educational content
- We will still collect information necessary for website functionality
- Your opt-out request will be honored within 15 business days

Verification Process
To protect your privacy, we may need to verify your identity before processing your request. We will:
- Match the information you provide with information we have on file
- Ask you to confirm your email address
- In some cases, request additional verification
Authorized Agents
You may designate an authorized agent to make a request on your behalf. The agent must provide:
- Written proof of authorization signed by you
- Verification of their identity
- Verification of your identity
Response Time
We will acknowledge receipt of your request within 10 business days and complete the request within 45 days. If we need more time (up to 90 days total), we will notify you.
